No_Substitute

Having lusted for a Porsche since I was in my early teens 25+ years ago, and having lurked/studied here on the 928 board since August 2005, it seems the stars have finally aligned - I have the $$$, the mid-life crisis, and a local 928 that looks interesting:

I'd rather have an OB, but that's not a deal breaker.

Can anyone point me to a Tampa resource to do a PPI? I would be grateful for any help in the area. I've read enough horror stories here to know better than to buy a 928 without one.

For whats its worth I will help you go over this car. I am, as we speak installing a super charger on mine. I have rebuilt most of this car so I think have a handle on this

Thats a nice looking shark in overall very good condition. Even if pics don't tell the full story, they are a good start! I'd go look at it in person asap & take Mark up on his offer. But get the ball rolling if it looks anywhere as nice in person as it does in those pics. Especially if those are the original miles. And if you end up buying it, make sure that you bring it to the Sebring Shark Shiver in early Feb. so you can show it off to the rest of us! Good Luck!

It was quit a drive - the family loved it - and I bought the car. - My wife already named it "Beauty"
Maybe between it and the '83 I'll end up with the <1,000 car and blend what is left.
