Doth Dex-Cool work in a manual transmission car?

I don't trust tap water. Distilled is not expensive at all.
Where's Sean Connery when you need someone to ask: "Hard or Shoft."

Think it was the orange stuff that stained the insides of my plastic 'never-last-long-pain-in-the-butt-to-replace' overflow tank.

I'm now on G-05, for the record.

I always keep a couple of gallons of distilled water around for this kind of thing. The only time I've ever used any tap water is when I flushed my system out for 10 minutes with a garden hose, then I blew it out with compressed air.

Then refilled with the "proper" stuff - I think it was prestone w/ distilled + water wetter...

I could be wrong, but I think pee is high in phosphates

But you'd SHIRLEY know it when you've got a coolant leak.
Unless you wear astronaut underpants.

VW/Audi Blue is G11 IIRC. I think pink is G12. I run the blue in my 944 and my 99 Audi took the pink.

If you call the VW dealer you can get G11 pretty cheap.

The orange dex-cool causes a lot of deposits.
A powder and I don't like it as it seems to encourage leaks.
