Why can't I see any photos of that interior? I see the text but no photos.

As for grey-green, when I bought my car on the web, I thought I was buying a meteormetallic with grey interior, and was stoked. When I picked up the car, I couldn't believe the color. I was not immediately fond of it but not turned off either. I just though I had wandered onto an Army base like I did once when I bought a cherry VW bug from a Sgt. that had keep his olive drab bug in great shape. That night driving it home it began to grow on me. Leaving the motel the next morning and all day long I began to like it more and more. What I like most about it is that it lets me see what's happening outside the car rather than tripping out on the interior like I was sitting in my living room. In other words, it is functionally neutral and pleasing, particularly over looooong drives. It fades into the background while you concentrate on driving the machine....fast. And if you have a passenger who is good looking (female naturally) she appears even more prominent.

To summarize: very funcional on a fast GT machine.

I think it match great with the sample, great job. I may need some leather matched on my green interior if I choose to redo the seats.

I had this color green leather made up for an interior I did last year. The original material was the Porsche dark green in a vinyl and leather combination. The vinyl had sort of a marbleized color whereas the leather was solid. We used the leather for matching purposes.

I agree any color can be custom dyed - in fact I got a 99.6% color match made my car.... however IMHO it does not beat the original when subject to long-time wear and tear. So I got hold of what I believe must be the last remaining original piece of both grey-green pin-stripe & leather. Further inquiries around has not revieled anything available. So it is fairly special at least in its original form. Adding to its rarity is that many owners have either replaced or re-dyed their grey-green interior.

Leather and vinyl is easy to dublicate. Its factory cloths which will be real challenge for future restorers.
