What about replacing the pump with the euro fan belt tensioner? Believe it's 928.106.080.02 and $100 used from 928intl vs. $149 for a rebuilt pump. Anyone done this mod?

 

I wonder if the euro tensioner would pass the visual (it is pretty far down there).

I thought about getting one of these, if only to balance the belt tension on the crank. (I have neither AC nor air pump installed at the moment.)

 

Yikes.... Here in Canada I was quoted $485.00 for the euro-tensioner.
