Just when you finish one thing...
I tried to take my 928 to work today and got about 1 mile from home and the car started to hesitate and surge. The power was way down and it stalled twice. Each time I was able to just coast to a stop and then restart my car with no problem. The tank is running on a little less than a quarter full and when I got her back home, she once again ran fine. I know the filter hasn't been changed in a good long time and that was definitely on my list. It just has a way of making itself a little more urgent.
Does this sound like a fuel filter being clogged ? What else should I tackle while in that area ? Thanks !

It could very well be a filter (cheap: $20). It could also be a tired pump (expensive: $250). Possibly a fuel pump relay (in between: $50). I"d start with filter and relay and then not be surprised if it turns out to be the pump. You can measure fuel delivery at the top of tank, under the plastic round cover, small return hose, car not running, jumper the pump relay. You should get a ton of fuel on it's return trip. Maybe measure before/after a fresh filter.
Good luck.
Good luck.
