1. I don't care about how it sounds as long as it isn't shrill
2. I'd only want about 380-410 to the rear wheels
3. The engine I'm thinking of modding has fairly low miles on it so barring catastrophe it will be eons before it will need a rebuild
4. I have no concerns about passing emissions tests

So I guess that means I'll be getting a Murf stage two. No???

I don't think Murf makes one that low.

here ya go/ he posted this yesterday on that other board:
The 4.7 liter Triple-T, went back onto the rollers today. Some changes were made including larger P-20 housings in the IHI turbos and installation of the 1979 camshafts.

The car made a very impressive 450 RW ft-lbs and 445 RWHP on just a tick over 8 psig of pressure. I believe this is a 4.7 liter record. Given the old Callaway layout I'm very impressed with these numbers. There is little doubt this car can make well in excess of 500 RWHP with better turbos. A pair of GT2871s may be in order, or maybe the GT28RS?

Not at all shabby for a car that was passed over for DOA before it was gone through 18 months ago.

PLEASE...Spare me the BS of having to "justify" my dyno numbers on this car...they are what they are and represent the true potential of the exhaust driven compressor. End of discussion.

Candlestick, you say you want 380-410 rwhp but you will want more after a while trust me. I installed a 3.33 pulley to get to my current power. I want to go to a 2.95 or so but I can't until I get some kind of intercooler set up . Then I willl have near 500, but I will want more soon after. Its how it works, thats all.

Hi,
I've been involved in two stroker builds ,the first built by someone with a great website and it lasted 50 miles. The second built by Greg Brown (breaking it in as we speak) -runs great. I would suggest to anyone building ,or having a stroker built is to buy other engine and have it stroked and keep the original engine as a spare, down time will be minimal. I found the temptation was while your waiting for the engine to be finished you'll want to replace almost anything in site and the money keeps flowing out . Force feeding a well taken care of engine can be very attractive.

Dude.
1. I know what I want and what I can handle and 400rwhp is more than enough to satisfy me and what I want from my car.
2. Don't call me Candlestick or Candleprick or Candlesmoker or anything else unless you want me to get a serious attitude with you. If we are familiar that's one thing, until then don't address me with a name other than the one I have given.

Kevin did not mean anything by it, relax. I didn't know there was a big diff between candleman and candlestick, and didn't even notice.

Hacker- I've considered that but since I live in Florida and it doesn't get very cool here I'm thinking the intercooler is a good idea.
Heinrich- apology accepted.
