I think most are north of MIA, but thought I'd give a gtg a try.
PM for details if a gtg before the end of the month works for you!

RSKY BIZ - I'm in Kendall, that's SW Miami. But at the moment my S4 isn't ready for any gtgs. I've been getting it prep'd and disassembled for a resto paint job and a few other cosmetic improvements. It's turned into a bigger project than anticipated and free time & $$$ are limited, so it's taking awhile to accomplish.

There are a number of 928s here in Miami, see one every once in awhile on the street. Don't know if any are club members though. Haven't met any one else from Miami at the Sebring or Daytona club gtgs.

My Grandmother lives just south of the Seven Mile Bridge, on Big Pine Key. I asked about Keys' 928ers a couple of years ago when i went down to visit as well. I seem to remember mention of someone on Marathon Key with a 928, i never did hook up with them though.

Normy is always up for a Key West visit, he's north of Miami. The wife and i were going to meet up with him the last time we were in Miami, schedules didn't work out.

I am about 2 hours drive from Miami. I might be interested, what is it you are planning? Who else is thinking of going?

Jeff,
Looks like an awesome resto job! I love the color combo as well.
I will not have either of my sharks on this trip, but a rental...
Sharks need some 'stable time' after a near speeding ticket @ 0300 this AM for 'flying under minimums'...
Sharky definitely has good Karma -- been a while since I DIDN'T receive the alleged fine!

Hey Ben-meister!
I could hit your Grandmother's for dinner tonight!

I will be in town (with ~250 other boats & crew) for KWRW...
but hope to have some play time as well as time at sea!

There was a guy from the Keys at SITM about 3 years ago. Had a Prussian Blue OB...but I can't remember his name.

BTW - Kim, I'm in P'cola - on I-10 about 1/2 way for ya. Give me a shout if you head that way and have any probs, or wanna grab a cold one.

(PS - My shark is down for a paint prep, too. Will likely have to take the 951 to SITM this year.........)

Mark,

Wished I knew you were in Pensacola when I drove from Rennsport III in Daytona back to DFW! Dang!
(It WAS a fun trip!)

951 to SITM? Paint prep? Hell-O, Mark 'me boy -- SITM is over FOUR months away!
Just 'how much' paint ya puttin' on her?

I have only seen a white C4 here in the Keys . . .well, talkin' 'P-cars', natch!
[btw -- MIA --> the Annex in two hours flat* (ok, in the wee hours, but ...'just sayin')]...

Off to meet an old friend @ the 'Green Parrot' . . . in Margaritaville!
(I met her my very first night in KW years ago -- gtg whenever back in town)...

Best to All!

PS: Erik . . . 'no soup for you!'

Yeah, the route WAS a 'mine field' of sorts. . .
AND I got stopped on the h'way in TX the night before @ 0300 in one of my sharks, BUT the KARMA of SHARKY rocks!!!
Somehow, there were no 'paper transactions!!!!'

I will have a Co-uh, Co-Cap'n on the return daylight leg back to MIA . . .
(the single file boat parade back to the mainland) . . . think I'll just 'take pics!' . . . Ya . .

Shawn -- where are you in FL??

Hey Mark, that was "crazy Mike". Perfect name for him. He also inroduced himself as such. Happy key west style with a big hat, sun baked skin and flip flops in a cold/foggy SITM. Hard to forget!
