I checked into this one pretty heavy also, congrats on buying it. My one piece of advice would be to do the timing belt NOW. It was last replaced in 1994, (according to the records) and checked in 2003. Running a nice car like that on a 13 yr. old T-belt is more than risky, it's suicide.

Damn, you were sucked in quick. It usually takes a couple of years before you have two sharks, at your pace you'll have ten of them within the next five years!

Nice color btw, not often you see one in good condition like this.

Looking forward to a few more shots of the car once you have it.

Nice car, love the unique color, also nice to see the pretty rare lack of rear a/c. Those vintage BBS wheels are probably 8.5" and 9.5" and very light. They just look very 1980's.
Also looks like the intake has been off and refinished, that would need to be done if it wasn't already.
Option codes? You want to see "220" for limited slip.
Also do a check and release of flex plate tension. A search on rennlist will give you tons of info on that.
Now you can turn the 5 speed into a more hard core beast and the auto into a smooth "date-mobile".

Thanks for putting me on the "A-list"!!

I'd be real curious to see how many brown S4s there are out there, It was a popular color on the OBs but I think I've only heard of one other S4 in brown, A rare find indeed.
Interior looks nice!
