Post Power cable

There is a a power cable, that is appx 1/4 thick that is connected via a phillips screw to a terminal located just fwd of the ABS unit (front DRIVER side 87 s4..US)...just fwd of the powersterring resivour also..just under the hoodline.

I had to remove it to aid in removing the fan shroud for a timing belt/waterpump project.

what is powerd by this cable/terminal?

Im away from home at this point but im hoping to get a heads up on some trouble shooting i may have to do when i get back.

Long story short, i forgot to hook this FRIGG'n cable up after i conencted the battery aagin and in the process of discovering this, i let it ground out as i moved it...BZZZZZZZAAAAAP ..on the oil cooler line!!! car turns over, wont start or run. Of course i just replaced the Tbelt also , which will add to the mystery.

Kind of a vague description..sorry.
I plan on going through all the fuses and relays when i get home as this all happened just before i had to leave town again....im sure i blew something. HOPEFULLY NOT THE LH!

Just want to know what the terminal connects power to? or what it is for

Tony,
FWIW,
Seeing how mine is an 82', 4.5 auto with no ABS...

I, also, have this harness with no hook up!
Mine is zip-tied, rather neatly, I might add.
It has three (3) female blade connectors inside, with no cap to protect the connectors.
I'll look laterand edit this post to where it may go, O.K.? In the mean time I think it may be a test port...Guru's?
Later John S.
P.S. Anyone, -Jim?- know where to get a cap for this puppy?

There is a heavy power connection in that area for the ABS system.
