I find those wheels http://cgi.ebay.de/Porsche-Cup-911-9...QQcmdZViewItem on ebay.de they are the only set that I would like to have on my 89 GT, the price is great, the look is the one to go, the wheel/tire sizes are correct 8,5x18 -225/40/18 and 9,5x18 - 265/35/18 the only thing that am not sure is the ET 52 offset frond and rear!
They say that they fit, but if they fit correct is something that only you my friends here know for sure, I search the forum to find the answer but I cant find something for the ET 52!![Frown](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/frown.gif)
BTW my car is the 89 one with the 8'' and 9'' CS wheels and spacers at the rear.
Any help please?
Regards

They will fit but you will change the steering geometry at the front, meaning the car may feel different ie. less stable on uneven road surfaces. Plus they will be heavier, tyres will be more expensive (but you will also have a wider choice) and they will weigh more. Your ride quality will also deteriorate.
I'd stick with what you have.

i think that the front offset is too low. i think you can get away with a 55mm front offset in terms of clearancing the front fender, but im not sure about the 52mm. if it dosent clearance then you will have the wheel bending the front fender under compression - expensive damage. also, make sure and buy really good quality aftermarket wheels or original porsche if you can - they are better. the weight makes a big difference and the roundness of the wheel too. the rims you have now are actualy really good, aside from being a little old fashioned looking.

They will fit but I would not install them as they will come too far out at front. There are pics in few threads in here which show how they look on GT. In fact I bought good condition used set but decided to sell them away for this fitment reason alone. Well they are very heavy too but I could have lived with it.
There is another very similar looking wheel available from UK which is slightly better fit in my opinion as its 8" wide. http://www.velocewheels.com/veloce36/

Those look like a 1 piece cast wheel, look the same as better RH 3 piece wheels.
Go all the way with a quality wheel, or don't go at all. You could get a proper offset custom 3 piece wheel set that would be better than what you have, but it won't be cheap.
For cheap, just get some 997 take offs...

Lefteris, I have those exact Keskin wheels on my car, in 8.5x18 & 9.5x18, with the tyre sizes you mention.
I can confirm that the front wheels do stick out a tiny bit from the front fenders. Haven't experienced any rubbing though.
The car is quite prone to following ruts and tracks in the road surface, to the point where you feel you're fighting with the steering over which way to go, when it's worst. No so often it's that bad however. Have only driven my car with these wheels on, so have no idea how much worse it is than with correct offset wheels.
Here's some photos; first two dealer pics from before I got it, that are the best I have to show how far the fronts stick out; next a couple of my own to show you better how they look on the car:

I've run 8.5 x 18 wheels w/ 52mm offset before. 245/40/18 tires rubbed the fenders at full lock during U-turns but 235/40/18 size worked quite well. My front fenders are slightly flared.

I guess there are two answers to your question. The setup I used to have was the Mille Miglia Cup 2 wheels, which were 8.5x18et52 front and 10x18et52 rear. The widest you can fit in the back are 11x18. I'm currently running Kinesis K58's that are 10x18 front and 11x18 rear. Sorry I don't know the offsets, but Mike Simard posted offsets on his CCW Motorsport Corsair C14 wheels a few days ago and he's running 10" front and 11" rears. Do a search under his name and you should be able to find it.
