closest you can come is SL-9 "linen". (ref: 928 specialists website)

it's almost white, but I can't imagine why you'd want to dye it more white....?

i wouldnt buy new carpet and immedately dye it

maybe dye some used carpet and do it. Dying new carpet seems like a waste

and linen is about as white as i think you will ever get your seats to look, so probably the best choice

you could try to "bleach" your current carpet...?

that would remove the color from it....maybe not.

then again, you could take the car to Tijuana and get one of the (waiting to become an illegal) folks down there to do it cheapo????

This is what I am going to do whenever I get my 928 running. I am going to bring my Brother in Law with me since he lives there and can do the talking. You start talking Gringo to them, then expect to pay a higher dollar. Also, unless you know someone who had gotten interior done there at a specific shop, then your hit and miss on the quality your going to receive. There are a lot of horror stories out there, so beware.

Hey man, what's with this Website you adverstise?

I went there, its nothing but you lifting posts from here and other places, verbatim sometimes, and anchoring your own site with it.

Interesting. Ethical?

You know, I finally went over to Pelican to read myself some Danglerb and see what the fuss was about and I don't see what the big deal is, he doesn't come across as a jerk or an idiot. The only thing he does that I can see irritating people is that some of his posts sound like observational excerpts from his own personal 928 diary. Since he often isn't asking a question and doesn't seem to be making specific points or insightful comments for the rest of the forum I suppose that could come across as egotistical, but I honestly don't get the impression that he is. A bit odd conversationally? Yeah, but I've seen nothing that would explain his being banned here nor why he would be so reviled.
As for the original post I don't think it's a bad or weird idea at all. I think an all black interior would be nicely offset with white/light-linen carpeting and white door panel inserts. Although I'm sure I wont do it the thought of doing something similar has crossed my mind since I bought my white over black S4.

I can make a 928 carpet set in white. The cost depends on the material selected. Most suppliers charge a premium for white. I don't stock white and would have to check to see what is available but I expect a domestic nylon material in white would run between $400 and $600.
I sell the domestic black set for $319 and the German Sliverknit in most colors for $599.

Wow Rob,

Thats some top notch work on the 928 Dash and Pod. I'm afraid to ask how much for all that leather work. Is your carpet set the one that replaces all the carpet pieces in a 928? Whats the texture difference in your domestic black and a sliverknit in black also?
