hacker it is the ROW equivalent of the USA 86.5, it came with the S4 suspension and brakes but a 4.7 litre 16v engine (now with GTS engine and brakes). i do have contact of the inner rim against the rack at full lock and ive had to crimp the inside edges of the front guards to stop them rubbing on the tyre. no contact between the rim and the brake callipers though, for this style of wheel.

Wow what a wealth of info. Prior to this post I was unaware of the issue of length of the front suspension and wheel offsets. I also plan on adding S4 front brakes to my car. Given the suspension length issue it appears I'm much better off going the complete S4 suspension route than buying uprights and adapters. At this juncture running the stock suspension could I run a decent size tire or should I just bite the bullet and change everything now?
I also feeling a little cheap in freeloading all this great info so I'm about to pony up for my renewing my membership. Thanks for the help. Fred
