Confession of a Bigot...
As a previous owner of a 1976 911 Carrera 3.0 I used to think that only air-cooled Porsches are real Porsches. Now that I've had my 928 for a week, I take back everything I said about water-cooled Porsches. The 928 is a spaceship compared to the 911. Talk about fast, quiet, and comfortable. While my 911 will always have a special place in my heart, I can't say anything but praises for the shark... perhaps one day I'll change my mind about the Cayenne!

My first Porsche was a 1982 911SC and my second the 1988 928S4 I own now. Both are distinctive in personality and looks. The 911 is probably the most recognizable shape in all of motoring while the 928 is somewhat unknown to most. Each is a blast to drive the 911 a bit rough around the edges and the 928 silky smooth. Either way you are in for a great driving experience. In a couple years I may be in the market for Porsche #3 and I'm thinking 993C4 or 928GTS......decisions, decisions.
