UPDATE Detroit gettogether
Hey guys. It was great to meet you all and your families! That was my idea of fun; hang out with the family, talk cars and tech and do some test drives.
Please send me your name, address, tel # and email address for our new Porsche club. I'll start emailing gettogthers and other ideas directly to you.
Thanks again for coming down. Talk with you soon.
P.S. Don't forget we have a meeting this Thursday night at Champs in Livonia. Anyone who didn't make the picnic please know that you are invited regardless if you own a 928 or not.

I do agree with you Greg, it was a much appreciated get together. I enjoyed meeting everyone that showed up.
If, I could just get another tech session here.

Hey Joel-
You missed a good time today. And I don't know if I'll be able to make it to Champs or not on Thursday myself, but the idea was to make it a regular event. But Since there are a lot of East-siders, I had proposed making it alternate between Champs and some other location on the East-side each month. No one has proposed a second location, so it may become the "regular" place. I'm sure we'll have more events. Just keep an eye out. Also, look on the post here from Gregg about the Picnic. You can email him directly, and give him your contact info and we'll be sure to include you on future events and gatherings.

Steve,
That is my next project before it goes to the body shop. I have not due to the donor shark dismantling, and my shark had ailes that kept it off the road.
I am glad you remebered. FYI--I will be rereading all the replies and emails to fix that. I noticed I have no tach, no gear indicators on the dash, and no reverse lights. On the shifter handle indicator in the center console I can not get the N and P to align up with the shift indicator.
