Here's a couple. We had to drill, tap and re-thread one of the holes for the coolant crossover. The engine was in by 3pm. Now Andrew gets to have fun reconnecting everything.

Sorry I haven't had a chance to post until now. My wifes friend is going through a divorce and she needed to come over and talk to us. THere's been a lot of

Well as a few eluded to, the engine is in, but FAR from running! Thanks to the Detroit boys, Dave, Dave, Matt, and Dennis. It amazing haw fast things move with two guys doing the work and 3 stading around jabber jawing.

Ryan, I'll get you a pic, but it will have to later. Don't let me forget.

I'd say I won't have it running until the end of January at the earliest, will keep you posted.

Take your time. You don't want to have to take it apart troubleshooting some stupid mistake. Just make sure it's ready for SITM

Looks like its coming along just fine, cam covers look great!
Just a few suggestions, but here goes, I hope you have recently replaced all 4 of the fuel lines?
And that coolant bottle ought to put out in the garden as a planter, it wont be long before it cracks.
Pull the dipstick out till you need to check the oil or start the car, unless it has already snapped off where it fits into the tube.
Good luck on your project, I hope it runs great with no worries

Fuel lines are either already new or will be. I thought about replacing the coolant expansion tank, but it looks okay. The impossible bolt has been removed.

No, I will install the clutch from underneath. The car wll be running the next time you're here, and I hope there wil not be a third time.

Thanks Ken. We'll get you up here on of these days. As for the rest of the car, I'll just be working on it a little at a time.
