torque settings
hi
i am putting my auto box back together and i want to veryify a few torque settings as i cant make them out from my manuals
differential to tranny bolts is 46 n/m correct
what torques are the following please
6 bolts that attach front flexplate to flywheel
6 bolts that attach rear flexplate to torque converter
the 2 torque tube spline allen key bolts
the coolent in and out pipes with the crush washers
also what is the bes diff oil to use?
Thanks

Tim,
The 46Nm appears correct. When you ask about the 6 bolts that attach the flexplate to the flywheel are you referring to the 8 mm bolts that sandwich the plate between the ring grear and the flywheel? If so, they are torqued to 32-39Nm. If you mean the 12mm bolts that hold the flexplate to the driveshaft the torque is 150-180Nm. The spline (slipjoint) bolts are torqued to 80Nm. Don't see anything on the plate to the torque convertor. Love their nomenclature. 8^) It could be the same as flexplate to the ring gear (32-39Nm).

cheers Dennis
the flywheel to flexplate bolts that i am referring to are the 6 bolts that are in pairs on the outer angles of the flexplate that fix to the flywheel and at the rear end of the torque tube the flexplate bolts that join to the torque converter
many thanks
