Hawk HP+ pads

Drifting
I ran a set for about a 1.5 years on the A6. The pads wear less than the rotors. The car did stop very well though. Squeal is an issue if you are sensitive to that. They are not quiet in the least once they get warmed up.

I use the Hawk HP+ pads, on the street (only). They have been excellent, insofar as I am concerned. Long life and impressive stopping power. What's the pad and what's the caliper/rotor combo is hard for me to assess based on everyday driving, but no complaints, really.
The squeal was a problem until I reinstalled the pad dampers, and dust is abundant, but not much more than the one other set I had on the 928 (I forget the make of those; they came on the car.)

Cool- That's encouraging. I want more initial bite, and more aggressive overall torque clamping. I'm not too concerned about excessive noise, or dust- these TT are easily cleaned. I'll use my stock rotors for awhile- they're still in good condition. If they wear out from the Hawks, I'll just go with either Power Slots, or Frozen Rotors next time. Anymore feedback welcomed...

Haven't used Hawk pads but they seem pricy compared to other street brands.
Mintex wear fast in hard use, lots of dust and fade when pushed. OEM pads were great but very expensive.
Now using PBR ceramics; well priced, low dust, little squeel and impressive stopping power. I also added ssteel lines and a 33 bar regualtor.

The Hawk+ pads are great when warm. Not quite as good as stock when cold. They are aggressive on the rotors; rotor wear will be dramatically increased. The dust is also aggressive and you'll need to clean the wheels every couple of days or it will pit the wheels.
