SOCAL 928
Just figured I would post again if there are any 928 newcomers to the Southern California area. SOCAL 928 is a great 928 community with lots of great cars and folks. Join up, it's free. http://communities.msn.com/socal928
Lots of fun on the road and the board.
50+ members at this time, quite possibly the largest regional 928 enthusiasts group in the nation.
We would love to have you join!

Keith - looks like you got your Board name changed OK? Had posed same question in a previous thread - must not have seen it.
For God's sake, better hope Nicole doesn't see this 'unethical' behaviour - posting info on one forum about another Board - ref. her lambasting of moi on Phil Tong's 928s4vr Board
Dang, another transgression - linking to another Board:
Nicole the Enforcer

Well, well, well. I certainy do not think my message said, "Dump the Rennlist and join SOCAL 928 for all your 928 info".
I live on the rennlist. The invite was basically focused on So Cal 928 owners who want to be in a local enthusiasts group. Swim with the same fishes so to speak.
The SOCAL board keeps one informed of local events and what not. I believe it would certainly be encouraged by 928 OC and the Rennlist to have a local group to DRIVE your 928 with other locals, rather than just talk to people around the world about them.
Two different types of boards.
BTW...we certainly encourage our members to be a part of the Rennlist and all the other boards and websites they can. It's combined knowledge that helps us all AND, nobody is losing money. Heck, there is NO charge for being a SOCAL member.

It seems that you may have missed the subtle tongue-in-cheek delivery in my previous message.
How's this instead:
Welcome SOCAL 928 - I encourage all Cali 928 owners to visit your great forum.
So, your's is free? Sorta like...Rennlist?
