The pump in place of the air pump is the scavenger system, it sucks the oil out of the turbo drains and pumps it back to the crankcase. The turbos are mounted too low for gravity drain.
RE on the manifolds... The runner pipes are slightly curved, not straight into the "log" as it might seem.
As for giving up HP with the manifolds, well I really don't know. All I know is it moved pretty well with them on 8 psig of manifold pressure . My guess is somewhere at about 380 HP before any of the changes I made.
Fuel system was boogered....I am changing it to a programmable MAF signal conditioner from Split second. The old Callaway Microfueler will eventaully be eliminated.
The nuts are just copper plated steel.
