Edited: Some nice 996 wheels for sale up here near Seattle.
http://seattle.craigslist.org/est/pts/511688626.html
From the ad:
"Set of OEM Porsche 996 wheels, as installed on cars from 1999 to 2001. Fronts are 7x17, ET55, p/n 996.362.124.00 Rears are 9x17, ET55, p/n 996.362.128.00"
The front offset is what I'm running on my '88 S4 (on 18" wheels 225/45 I think) and they fit fine. I have no idea if the rear offset will work with 928's, or if the front offset will work with other year 928's.
These look like decent wheels, and I think the price is pretty good.
If you're interested, I would act quickly, I don't think they will be around long.
Also, I "may" be able to help with the local pickup and shipping, although I wouldn't be able to ship them out for weeks with all of the holiday hoopla. Just want to be clear on that. And don't forget to factor in the shipping cost, I have no idea what that would be.
And other then what the ad says, I know nothing about them, so don't ping me with questions, I won't be able to help you on that.

According to wheelenhancement.com they are stock 996 wheels. Looks like they are optional on Boxsters:

And thanks for your personal opinion on them.
