Default Any local LM-1/LMA-3 users?

So Bill and I installed a LM-1 and LMA-3 last weekend. I did a couple of
runs today and logged them. I've got the wide-band 02 sensor, RPM, and
vacuum/boost line connected. The AFR works ok on Logworks display and
in the logs, the RPM shows up correct on the Logworks display, but seems
a little weird in the logs. But I can't get the vacuum/boost to look right.
Anyone in the SF area used one of these and want to go for a ride and help
check this out? Of course others can give advise also.

Here's a sample of one of the runs:

I know I have to make some adjustments on the SFMU to get the the AFR
in the 12:1 range. But I'd like to get the info in the right ball park before
I start doing anything too radical.

Thanks.

George-
Are you using the built in MAP sensor or do you have a different sender unit that you're logging?

I had to play around with the RPM to get it just right.

You sould get in touch with Tony or Z. They have the most experience with the Innovate stuff.

Thanks Andrew,

I'm using the built in MAP sensor and the RPM Induction sensor from Innovate. The RPM
looks good, but in the logs I notice that after I let off the gas the RPM goes crazy.
On the logworks screen, I see that at idle the boost gauge is sitting at 16" vacuum and
the screen is at 15 psi. This seems wrong. Then at peak boost it's reading 43.78 psi.

You need to program the AuxBox/LMA-3 (I think that's what you're using) to tellit you're using the MAP sensor to record "Boost". It should record from -14.7psi to +29.4 IIRC. This is a setting you do both on the box itself and in LogWorks. For the box you need to set Channel 4 (MAP sensor) to function #4. Double check the manual.

Can't say for sure what's happening on the RPM. I'd double check t make sure you got a good connection on your splice.

Also, you might want to look at this thread fro additional tips and suggestions for other things to log (e.g. injector duty cycle, etc.)

The innovate forum is pretty good. Klaus is a great guy and very active on the forum. However, "Z" here on rennlist is the man.

I had messed up my settings previously, and he helps me get them reset in about 2 minutes. He knows his stuff!
