Question re: 928 S4GT light assembly for bumper
Hey all -- I am "over" from the 964 list and have a question regarding a 928 front light assembly.
I am looking at a Zender front bumper/spoiler for my car that I've been told will need turn indicator and fog/driving light assemblies from a 928 S4GT. Does this sound right and, if so, does anyone know where I could see/buy these assemblies to compare them with the openings on this bumper?
Any input or guidance would be most appreciated (If anyone can tell me how to post a picture, I can post one of this spoiler as I have it saved on my computer)
Thanks...

Randy,
Thanks for that useful information -- I've got the picture on my office computer (I'm at home now) so I'll post it tomorrow and hope someone recognizes the shape of these openings in this bumper and can help identify which light assembly should fit (the owner of the part is not sure).

Unfortunately, I couldn't utilize that web site to post the photo of the bumper -- it only accepts "gif" or "jpeg" format and this picture is in "art" format (and I can't get it to "re-save" in one of these accepted format types).
However, I did find some pictures of 928's and it looks like the light assembly from an S4 is what is needed to fit into the openings on each side of this bumper (it appeared that the year didn't matter as all the ones I saw looked the same).
Next question -- is the light on the front side of this assembly a fog light or a driving light and does anyone have information on where to locate these light assemblies? (possibly used)
Thanks again...

Hi Tim:
On the S4/GT cars, the front lamp assembly includes a two-bulb assembly that has a fog light in one section and an additional high beam in the other. A second assembly includes a front parking light and turn signal, and a rubber bumper/lens protector. The car also has a separate side marker light back towards the wheel opening in the fender.
The parts are available used from places like 928 International in Anaheim (see www.928intl.com) and also from 928 Specialists in South Carolina (see www.928GT.com). Both places can supply the parts as OEM/New, and will also be a big help for you with the correct 928 wire and connector assemblies to make a pro installation possible.
I have dealt with both places and recommend them highly.
Good luck on your project!

Dr. Bob,
Thanks so much your input -- do you have any leads for used 928 parts? (I already talked with 928 International but haven't tried 928GT yet). As the new parts would cost about $750, I really need to find some good used light assemblies for this project to be economically feasible...
