OT: Officially inporting car related goods (not complete cars)
Does anybody have experience in directly and officially importing goods into the US? What is the proper procedure? How to set this up legally? Where do I start?
I have been asked, if I want to become a distributor of a car related product line from Germany... (no, it's nothing greasy, no wonder additive, or the like... but a few of the products are 928 related)
Any pointers in the right direction would be greatly appreciated!

Nicole,
I import about two containers of goods per month where I work. We use a custom broker to track, preclear and provide disposition which costs a small fee, but in our case it is well worth it. If you feel you would need that type of service, email me at paschaldis@aol.com .
