The tire size of 225 is not the issue I was addressing. It's the size (width) and offset of the wheel that may be a problem on a 90 S4. I suspect the wheel in the photo is 7"x16" and you still haven't told us what the offset is exactly.

Even if the offset is correct (which I doubt) the width is a bit small. As I said in a previous message, you should be using 7.5"x16" up front, at a minimum.

If saving money is more important to you than how the 928 will handle and brake, then get those wheels. If not, get wheels that are specifically made for a 928.

I'm pretty sure the folks at DEVEK will give you the same scoop. However, YMMV.
