Welcome aboard Rob, I bought my shark in January of this year and so far have done a lot of elbow grease work, but a lot of paying at Devek as well. . . I'm not as handy as I would like. I've done some minor engine detailing and based on your description of hobbies, you will be a natural at that. I highly suggest the RMB if you don't have it. An install you can do yourself. I'm in Pacifica, it seems the Bay Area really has a great number of sharks. See you at the park meet.

Hey Seth,
I haven't even attempted to tackle the engine yet. It runs strong but looks a little dirty. Actually, a whole lot dirty. I figure since it runs well, I'll tackle the cosmetic things first. Seriously, like I said in an earlier post. Until I looked at Tony's website I pretty much didn't know just how much could be done by the average 928 owner. Even before I discovered Rennlist, I somehow got a link to Tony's site and one of the first couple of pages I looked at were about refinishing his wheels and then the brake calipers. I always thought that most owners would refrain from doing those kind of things. Heck, I never even thought of doing anything like that on my Accord (since it was my daily driver and needed to work in a reliable manner). Today, I ordered a shifter kit from Jager for a car that I have only owned for 3 days. I didn't even put my own stereo in on my Accord. Go figure...
I look forward to seeing many of you at the Sharks in the Park !
