Was hoping for some advice here, so when I get home this weekend, I can try and find the culpert.
Basically no driving light.
Next month, ordering my manuals. HURRAY! Yeah, the budget thing.

You don't need the manuals to check the basics. Before you go off on a big chase, verify that the fuse is good and that the bulbs aren't burned out. I managed to prove that GE's quality control is very consistent, when two 100W H-3 fog light bulbs on my '89 managed to fail within days of each other.
Hope this helps!

D,
I'm not sure if you mean the headlights or fog/driving lights.
If you don't have an owners manual... all I can give you is what's in mine (82').
Starting with the -torpedo fuses- :
1st on left = foglamps = 16 amp
2nd from left = aux.driving lamps = 16 amp
19th from left = headlamp motor = 16 amp
24 from left = main beam left = 8 amp
25th from left = main beam right = 8 amp
Relays:
Looking at the fuses/relays:
bottom row of relays, far right side, is the XIX/XX double relay for the retractable lights.
I'm with you on the pubs... scraping up the cash.
