Got a starting problem on a '81.

Only details thus far is the clutch pedel switch wire is cut, can't seem to trace it back from the switch. Nice white wire, ends in a cut and can't seem to find the end of it.

BTW, saw the #(&*@)@_ and just figured I'd try to fit in.

should trace back to the cruise control. i don't know when the clutch kill switch was added by my 82 doesn't have it and you can start the car w/o the clutch depressed.

Even in 86 there is no kill switch on the clutch.

Ahh, so there is no safety switch? That explains why when I bypass it, it doesn't work.

Ok. I'll go to the next step.

Thanks guys.

I'd have pictures up but my camera crapped its self. It's Ginger Bronze and the color is growing on me. It's bright......

No, it won't spin over, no power getting to the starter motor. I was at Rog's today so I haven't worked on this one since last night. I've got a lot of electrical issues to sort out. Some of the eletronics work (windows, roof, fuel pump) but there are some weird noises coming from other places, mainly around the fuse panel. I'm going to take care of the fuel leak 1st, then go mess with the rest. Feel free to stop by and take a look at it.
