My Car Starts... sometimes.
I have a 82 Euro S. Sometimes when I turn the ignition it starts and other times it doesn't. Everything else works (ie headlights, interior lights) and I have changed the starter relay out. My starter and soloneid are good. Is there a way to test the ignition switch or is there any other culprit?

check all of the connections at the battery and disconnect the bettery and clean the hot post connections remove the 11mm bolt and clean the thick wires and the 14 pin connector with a pink eraser, after your done get a hot post cover from a 1988 S4 and install it on the hot post cover, this helps keep water off of the connections

So I cleaned the wires and stuff and still cannot figure it out. My car starts perfect when it's warm, but when its cold it won't start. Are there any issues that would be trigged by the cold?

OK what do you mean by "starts" ?? when you turn the key what happens ?? dead silence ? , or wha, wha, wha, of the starter motor running ? Does the engine fire at all ? Run briefly and die? Is the fuel pump running ? What happens if you spray carb cleaner in the intake ?
