rough idling and power loss
hi
my car occasionaly seems to rev high and then low when at a standstill and sometimes stalls, a few of the gagues also seem to go up and down in time with the revs there is also a slow uptake when accelerating. this is obviously causing concern and i was wondering if anyone could shed some light on the situation
cheers

Does your model have an idle control valve, like the S4 models? The symptoms sound like what I have experienced when the idle control valve was going bad. There are tricks to lubricate it - if it applies to your car, do a search!

If you are having power loss, it is reasonable that the idle circuit is involved, but more likely something beyond that.
Sounds like same symptoms I experienced that two caps, rotors, and wires fixed. Wires go bad frequently in '28's.
Good Luck.
