Hi, I joined the 928 Oners club just recently, and am now hearing from them with what seems to be go things going forward. Also I have made contact with other 928 owners in the Denver area. I feel it is important to support the groups that are helpingwith the things I enjoy. The dues are very reasonable and just like this forum what you pay is returned ten fold in information that with out them you would flounder around and cost much more in time and money to find the answers.
Good luck and I hope to see your name on the roosters of the groups supporting the 928's
Richard

Larry:
You need to go the the Club's website (www.928oc.org), then from there you will need to setup your own password.
Stay tuned, as Stan is moving forward with several Club initiatives. YMMV.

That will depend on whether the Rennlist site administrators will allow Stan to write much about the 928OC on their site.
I suggest you go to the 928OC's website and read what's publically available. If you still have more questions, send Stan an Email. I know he's quite good at responding.

Anyone with questions, please contact me via email at Stan.Shaw@Excell.Net
I am looking for contact information on some members, and would appreciate any help that can be provided. I am maintaining a list of these "lost" members at <a href="http://www.928oc.org/928OC_030707_missing.htm" target="_blank">http://www.928oc.org/928OC_030707_missing.htm</a>

John,
I would have preferred to send this privately, but the forum interface to your email said it was blocked, and the private messages function said it was full (if I recall correctly).
I have only been involved directly with the 928 OC for less than 2 years (after the mail server issue), and have done my best to be brief and respectful of Rennlist resources.
Please do advise if you have a specific policy with regard to the 928 OC, or otherwise, that I should be aware of.
Sincerely,
Stan Shaw

Ummm - if you click on this: <img src="http://forums.rennlist.com/forums/email_ubb6.gif" alt=" - " /> - my server will send me an e-mail or show my address..?? Also - my PM is always full!! I dunno why - I clean it out every few days...?? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="eek.gif" />

In fact - way back - I believe Phil even made me an honorary member for my support, as I don't (yet) own a 928. That's why I was LOL at Ed's post... I'm not sure why he even posted that comment, for if something had changed between Rennlist and the 928OC - I'm pretty sure I would know (I've been accused of having a "keen sense of the obvious" <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" /> )
Anyway - hope this helps!!!!

John:
Thanks for reiterating the "open door policy" towards the 928OC.
I am aware of some past (years ago) 928OC messages that received some criticism from Rennlist members, so I posted my message to, hopefully, make potential 928OC posters aware of Rennlist's generosity, and not to abuse it.
BTW, I also recall at least one time when Rennlist was down for awhile. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think many 928 Rennlisters moved over to the 928OC list during that brief delay. We gladly look forward to helping you if it should happen again. YMMV.

Yes - you are correct. That occured in June of 1999 for 2 days when the 928 list had - I believe - about 724 subscribers. Today - that list has over 4700 subscribers - and since, I've added the Rennlist Web Forums which takes about 2,000,000 page views per day. Thank you for your kind offer, however - but I rather believe I'm more in a position to assist the 928OC, then the 928OC is in a position to assist Rennlist (and if that were not true, I do believe I'd be reading this post on the 928OC Forum - which I am not).
BTW as well - my site was "off" for two days - how long was the 928OC site "off" for? I can remind you, if you are interested.
