Gosh, I hope JD doesn't see youse guys talking 928 OC on Rennlist - but I think he's mellowed quite a bit over the years.

Ed had a way of getting John (and many others) annoyed. I miss Ed like an itchy rash.

For those who don't know, when Ed R. retired and sold his GT, he and his wife moved to Europe. I'm not sure where, but I think it was either Greece or Spain. It seems both governments could use some help with their current economic issues!

Funny....if it weren't for Ed (and 3-4 others) NO one would be discussing the 928 Owners Club, same goes for the The 928 Frenzy...because neither would have existed without the major parts he played.

Yes Ed had his own personality..but, if you ever took the time to get to know him you would be hard pressed to find a more honorable person...and no matter where he is living now I would bet BIG $$$$ he is not talking negatively about anyone here, or probably anyone negatively, especially "behind" their backs...he is better than that.

Funny story..since you stopped being a moderator you posts actually remind me of Ed..BUT, I don't consider that a bad thing. You speak your mind now, just like he always did.

BUT, BUT...I do like the way you do it as compared to Ed's "forum style". :-)
