PCA GT class racing rules changes..928??
http://www.pca.org/clubrace/docs/200...%20Adopted.pdf
PCA has changed their rules regarding "GT" class competitors...the old rules really sucked and were very anti-928....under the new formula it seems the 928 would make a strong competitor...
A lightweight 4.7L euro motor would barely squeek by in GT4....but Scotts 5.0L 16V would bump him to GT3..
MK in the holbert machine would be GT3..right in the middle (but a turbo 5.0L would be GT1 by a mile)
Anderson-Fans lightweight strokers would be in GT2.....just barely not GT1...so 928's could be on the same track at the same time and win 3 different classes!!!
Maybe MK will try PCA racing again??
Interesting that the list is not friendly to boosted engines.....for example a 2.5L 8V 951 turbo would have to weigh more than 2700lbs (with driver) to make GT3...
