Question 928 Ornament?

So I put up our Christmas tree this weekend, and realized I don't have a 928 ornament. Very unsatisfactory. I was wondering if anyone could post some pictures of what you have, and maybe where you got it. I will probably end up making one, but could use some ideas.

Thank you, and Merry Christmas, in advance.

If you're willing to molest one of the 1:87 scale Herpa models that Nicole sells, you can put a tiny brass eyelet in the top and voila...a Christmas tree ornament. Hot Wheels 928's are too cheesy looking for an ornament, IMO.
For ornaments, I opted to use nice but much cheaper 1:87 scale Mercedes Gullwings and Porsche Speedsters for my ornaments. At $2 each, I bought a bunch. I've made a few and given them to buddies who own classic Porsche & Mercedes (haven't put the eyelet in the Speedster yet).

Another idea would be to buy one of Nicole's silver 928 keychains. That would make a really nice ornament, IMO.
Now that I think of it, one of those is going on my Christmas wishlist.....

Thanks JP. I agree, and that was my first plan of action. Google search turns up nothing. Go figure.

Hey Nicole, got anything that might work?

What Tony said...

Keith W's SO is a pretty talented artist, and has in the past offered to make hand-painted ornaments of your 928 from a picture you supply. Contact Keith (928ntslow) to inquire about current availability.

I was gonna say...at the risk of being old an innacurate......that I thought someone's 'other' was once making some great ornaments. Might be late in the season, but I'd like to remedy the fact that I didn't step up in time back then!

COOL! Thats exactly what I was looking for. Pictures would be great. A hand made one would be optimal.
