I need bosch injector connector.
Does anybody have an old wiring harness laying around that they can canniblize a few injector connectors off of. I've got some of mine cracking.
I could use a couple of the opposite also (male/female?) They are used in a few locations.
I could PayPal you a few bucks for your trouble.
thanks

No need to do that...
Go to just about any Auto parts store - they have 'em in stock (individuals) that you can solder in place of the old cracked ones. Just be sure to maintain the electrical part. They are used in numerous applications nowadays - including VW's.
About $2/each - brand new!

I had this exact issue. I was running along at 50 mph, when an injector connector cracked and came loose. Talk about a sudden jolt, suddenly I had a V-7.
I tried a bunch of auto parts stores. None had anything near what I needed (however, I did not try NAPA..), but I did find them at the shop where I take the car for big repairs. They had all sorts of old wire harnesses and clips etc. I got one for $5, and some therm. sensor clips too. - Ruf

Same connector fits the 5.0 mustang as well.
Almost for got to mention Junk yards! A few weeks ago I made a day of combing through a few and noticed racks of late model intake manifolds. Most still had there injectors, connectors and all still attached.

Here's a direct link to the connectors

Max,
I noticed those connectors in the salvage yards as well...good eye!
I can't go to the junkyards anymore <img border="0" alt="[crying]" title="" src="graemlins/crying.gif" /> because I start looking at high end Mustangs -GT & Cobra's - and wondering....
Maybe if I pulled the computer, injectors, fuel pump, harnesses and sensors I could adapt it to Pattycakes or a 5.0L sHARk. They have a similar HP/torque curve.
My reasoning isn't for any HP/Torque improvement but for the sheer availability of computer and associated hardware. We are into rebuild only computers and possibly ECU's nowadays for the sHARKs... I burn at least another whole day in addition to the junkyard browse day going thru old Mustang/Mustang and Ford magazines perusing the Stock Dyno Data sheets comparing them to 928 Dyno Sheets, cfm's... The mapping is similar, the RPM range is similar. And they made/make so many of them. Both 2 and 4 valve
Hmmmm. There I go again.
someday...

The Bosch number for the injector 2 way (socket) is 1 287 013 003.
The mating plug (cable mount) is 1 287 013 002
Both numbers include the rubber boot, housing and terminals.
From your local Bosch agent.

DeltaP and others, remember if you choose used ones from an older 928, they too will have been heat cycled many times and will soon brake down in the same fashion.
John St., I love to visit well-organized junkyards. If I had a pre-89 928 the decision to convert to an alternate engine management system be an easy one and would be the first thing on my to-do list.
