A/C switch disconnected
Here's a story that might help someone out a bit. I replaced my CD player a week ago, and it was rather simple. After the swap (an older Aiwa for a new one) I tested the radio/CD, everything was fine, so I buttoned everything up. A few days later I noticed the light on the A/C switch didn't come on with the rest of the lights. Then, a day or two after that, I noticed the A/C didn't come on at all! Made for a warm ride, in Houston, in the sun, in the 80's.
Anyway, turns out I failed to notice that I knocked the A/C switch connector loose. It doesn't appear to be a locking connector, so it was rather easy to dislodge. A quick re-plug was all it took to get it running again.
I know...note to self: check all connections in the area you were working in before assuming you are finished.

Excellent advice.
Probably half of the probelms encountered are directly related to maintenance recently performed on our cars.
When in doubt (if possible) undue to maintenance you've preformed to see if that corrects the new issue. (Nicole - are you listening?).
