Post Opinion on aftermarket chips

Does anyone on this board have the aftermarket Autothority chip for their 928S4??? If so, do you like it? are there any noticeable changes? I'm just a bit curious as to what a performance chip will do for a 928 along with that loved RMB

I had a set of the Autothority chips in my car. They do make a difference, but aren't worth the money in my opinion. I have a Dastek piggyback computer in now, and think that something like that is a much better way to go. Installation and tuning are more involved than just putting in a set of chips, but you'll get more power, and can tune for the optimal settings for your spcific car and it's modifications. Perfect Power makes a newer piggyback computer that will work with on an S4. I think that one is cheaper, and has more features. Unless you're going with some pretty major other changes to the car, that's the way I'd go.
