Unhappy Salt Lake City repair shop

Well she died (79 928)...timing belt has slipped and thrown the timing off...water pump probally the cause. Can anybody out there recommend a repair shop in Salt Lake City that's fair and reasonable...and if you've had a water pump and timing belt replaced how much did it cost? Thanks in advance...sorry tiny Tim there might not be a christmas this year.

Motorsports is there. Heres there contact info. I have never used them but they are very well known and respected. They specialize in 928's and 944's.

I'd give my vote for Motorsport SLC also. They built my engine this summer. Dave and Garrity know
their stuff.

Count me among their happy customers. They are the only shop that found my steering gremlin, and, believe it or not, I have been seriously considering driving all the way to SLC to have the do the work of replacing that awful steering rack and my motor mounts and then aligning my car. No one else has succeeded in doing it properly, and besides.....its a great drive through friendly, picturesque rural Nevada where you can see clear roads for as far as the eye can see. My 928 loves that. Truthfully, I may have to go back to SLC in the near future and if I do I wouild stop there to do this work if I don't do it myself first.

Are these guys still open? The website doesn't work. Do they work on trans axles as well? Probably the closest to me in MT.

Never mind, I just called them. The web site is just down. They may have a few options for a used trans for me! Nice.
