Question Alignment in Denver

Well, after a lifetime of wanting, and several months of active looking, I finally found "my" 928. 1989 S4 Black/Black 5-speed with 42k miles, 17" turbo twist wheels, RMB, aftermarket Alpine 6-cd stereo. WhooHoo! The car is better than I could have hoped, but is in need of an alignment. Having learned about the importance of not raising the car, can anyone in the Denver,CO area recommend a shop to get this done? The last thing I want to do is screw up the first thing I have done to the car.

Thanks in advance.

Bob,

I live in Seattle and recently bought an 88 S4 5-speed in Denver. I don’t know an alignment shop, but I can give you names of three 928 mechanics in your area, who may be able to refer you to a “928-educated” alignment shop. Talk to:

John Eisenbud (John or his cohort Jim may actually do alignment work too)
796 Vallejo
Denver 80401
303.825.0322
(referred to me by “Max the crazy Texan” who is on this Board from time to time. John gave me the following 2 names in case my seller wanted someone closer to his home.)

Prestige Porsche
Talk to Dave Petitti
9201 West Colfax Ave
Lakewood 80215
888.516.2834
(I used Dave, who is this dealer’s 928-knowledgable person, to do my PPI.)

Eurosport Ltd.
Talk to Greg
1855 W. Union Ave, Unit C
Englewood 80110
303.762.0922

Congratulations on your purchase! Hopefully you didn’t come to Seattle to buy yours. We could have each just bought in our own community. What? And miss the road trip home?? Nnnaaahh.

Cheers,
Larry McMullen

Larry,
Thanks for the info. Actually, after looking nationwide for several months, I found the car located 16 miles from where I live. Auto Karma, I guess. <img src="graemlins/beerchug.gif" border="0" alt="[cheers]" />
