I can't believe that. Do you think she stole the actual shrine from the gathering where it went missing? Or did she simply run across one of the pictures here?

 

I'm quite certain is was merely a picture lift. Now I know what some people put watermarks on their pictures. Then shame of it all...

If she had approached me on both counts, I probably would have told her to go for it as long as any profits went to something like helping kids in Haiti, or the 928 O.C. or some other communal cause. Instead, I have a bitter taste in my mouth and ended up reporting her to R'list police. Don't know if they did anything about it... don't really care at this point.

Speaking of IPR... I was going to do a "928 Calendar" to help fund our "Sharks in Hell" event, but then you came out with the WOR calendar and I was too embarrassed to even suggest my cause as it pales in comparison. I had even approached people for photos and asked permission to use their photos. Actually, I did end up making a couple samples and they turned out AWESOME!, but like I said, how could I even think of competing against the WOR calendar?

 

Awww, shucks, Andrew...I'm sorry. It wasn't exactly "my" calendar, even though I did seem to get caught up in it all.

gads I was laughing when I saw the shirts because I thought Andrew "sanctioned" them... Seems sort of cheezy to rip someone's design like that, even if it was more of a myth than reality.

I found a 928 police matchbox car model. Maybe we should send a pic of that?

The way I see it you could do one of three things here:

1. Contact her "she" and ask to have the items either removed from the site, or the profit from the sale of the items to go towards the "Sharks in Hell Fund".

2. Get the word out to not only the 928 community but to "Off Topic" and request that nobody buy anything from the site until #1 is accomplished.

3. Do nothing and "feel exploited".

 

I wanna know who this is too......
