Default Radiator End Tank Replacement

Any good write-ups out there on this? I found alot of info on it by doing a search, but no luck on a picture intensive write-up. My 86 started that infamous leaking at the top of the passenger side end tank just the other day.

My mind is set on buying a new CR aluminum radiator from 928 international, and one of those newfangled electric fan setups from DR, but i will repair the stock radiator and sell it on the cheap to someone who needs one. Anyone know the current lead time if any on the CR radiator and DR's electric fans?

I purchased the one piece radiator from 928 intl, and it was great. No more running hot problems nor leaks at the end tanks. Spend the money and get that radiator.

We have several of the heavy duty C and R all alloy radiators in stock ready to ship. They are made ONLY for us under a special contract with C and R. We carefully monitored the project and insisted that a high capacity heat exchange was used for engine oil and trans cooler. I recently installed one in the old very brown 1980 ....
