Scope creep can be a factor, at least in my world.

For me, the line is no cosmetics or accessory work until it is proven reliable.

It was reliable... for 98 miles until I dropped the timing sensor grommet onto the belt and POOF....JUNK all over again. See my other post. I like your point of view though- LOGIC....I'm missing LOGIC sometimes!

Tell me more. What can I expect to pay for a Ti valve, custom cam, High compression style motor? I don't want boost.... I want really High Compression- pro race style build on a budget- does it exist??

With the proper application of $, monkeys with typewriters, and BFHs anything can exist.

Look into Greg Gray's engine efforts in Australia.
