Post Timing Belt

Just got done installing a new Timing Belt and Water Pump.

Just so hard to believe that the belt that size can fit in a 928

Looks like a job to install. I'm working upto doing my first one. I've rebuilt many domestic motors, but this car seems to require alot of attention to detail with disassembly and assembly. How long did it take you? Was this your first one? Was it harder or easiler than expected?

It took us 11 hours and my friend had done them before ( The porsche book says 10 hours). The only issue we had were the two bolts that broke on the thermostat housing which we drilled out and a couple of other frozen adjuster bolts. But we also cleaned up a few things along the way left over from the PO.
