Applied Powder in Califonia. They have a website. ask for Vic in oxnard.

I sent two batches. first was intakes and cam covers, $200ish.

Second batch was fuel rails and misc parts, $75ish.

I painted the lettering. Black and silver letters with Hi-temp engine enamel Yellow letters are done with some left-over Meyer's snowplow paint.

Cool

Hi Greg,

That silver looks great!

I looked long and hard for the gold cadmium hose clamps. Porsche only supplies the stainless now. You can get stainless hose clamps from Lowes,Home Depot,...

Regarding the hose clamps-

I thought I had enough silver ones , but the sizes were wrong. I "needed" to drive the car to Hershey, so I used what I had. I'll dig up the remaining silver ones I need. (I wondered how long it would take for the clamp mis-match to be noticed here

Dave and Scott,

I asked applied powder to do a nickel-silver satin. On their routing slip, I see that the call it "silvadillo" . The black on the cam covers is Black-hammertone finish. I clearcoated everything before re-assembly.

Here is a link to a recent discussion about powdercoating. <a href="http://forums.rennlist.com/cgi-bin/rennforums/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=14;t=005655#000000" target="_blank">Powdercoating</a>
