Hi Russ:

Well your side pipe solution means I shouldn't worry about my plans.

I an thinking something like you suggest with the two 3" pipes.

I guess my next decision is to have the two exhaust pipes exit one on either side of the rear in the stock 16V location or straight out the back like the S4's, GT's, GTS's

Thanks Ian, since this will be a totally new custom exhaust I will probably go with one of the aftermarket x pipes.
