Theo,

I used an online translator to decipher some of the Dutch:

"Luxe, kracht en betrouwbaarheid in een mooi pakket: gewoon heerlijk om stom mee rond te rijden." to "Luxurious, strength and reliability in a beautiful parcel: simply delicious to drive round stupidly."

I'll second that!

Beautiful car - nice video.

Thanks for posting! Mike

Drewster, the owner tells in the video that it is not a GTS but a S4 with GTS modifications. Nice color and video. Theo bedankt voor de post.

Hi Robert,
yeay, it is just one of those "almost GTS" hybrids that Porsche made.

You all remember Graham's GT (almost GTS) ? Maybe they ran out of chassis at the factory

Although the translation is fairly accurate, the statement was actually more meant like "driving around without any proper destination, just enjoying the ride"

Is there any evidence for this. Many have said late '91 MY S4 received GTS rear bumber or even body but in each and every case there isn't any actual evidence for this.

I don't believe the factory made S4 models with GTS body. Unless it was a photo car for the brochures, before certain other parts of the GTS were ready. But there was not GTS with this color combo in the brochures - the cobalt blue one they used for the 92 brochure had no side moldings and the interior was carrara grey marbelized all leather.

Thank you for posting.

It's the first 928 I see with the same interior color as mine (blue on blue).

Also that puts me a lot of pressure to install those aero mirrors... It looks very good. Maybe one day...

The air intake tubes were S4, not GTS. I thought I heard him mention Strossek (sp), they didn't do a GTS conversion did they?

Bertrand, your car looks amazing.

Bertrand, I'm curious as to what that fender-mounted label says.

hi all,
he mentioned that the car was released from factory like this, fully GTS except the engine. It has a lowered chassis done by Strosek (dunno exactly what he means) and Bilstein's mounted. Techart exhaust. Rest of the car is original. Registration documents say it is a S4.

@Bertrand: super looking car !! Compliments !

@Nicole: it is not the first time I see one of these factory hybrid's. Be aware, they exist.
regards,
