Default "Kermit's" price?1400 miles 1978

Does anybody have a link to when this car sold?

Did the sale actualy happen on Ebay?

Who owns it now?

I thought I remember seeing it on Ebay alas my memories of it still seem like dreams.

I don't think a buyer acceptable to Chuck has shown up yet. He's not selling Kermit to become a daily driver or track car.

Kermit was in a league of it's own, so what it sell for does not compare the same to yours. Chuck bought that car in similar unused shape like yours (but 1200 miles) and has put a ton of time and money into that restoration. It looks like it just left the factory, but in a bubble. Not a speck of dirt on the underside.

The frog is truly a piece of Porsche 928 history. When I bought this car, it had the original timing belt, plugs, tires... everything. I replaced the belts and plugs but the tires believe it or not are still in really good shape. I found two original Pirelli CN36s in Germany that I am still waiting on as spares.

I am going to start advertising the car again soon as I have been focusing on other things lately. Like F4GIB implies above, I will only sell it to a verifiable sports car collecor and most definitely will not sell it to someone who intends to drive it. Although I think the price will take care of that issue all on its own.

If/when I sell this 928, I will not have any 928s? The GTS has been sold.....

So, what 928 variation will you be looking for next?

i still have tthe original timing belt that I changed this summer. The plugs were in great condition I still have them in boxes too.
I don't have the tires :-(
I know this car is not the same as Chuck's but I'm not sure where to find any compareables.
I guess I'm stuck on the idea that in realestate you find at least three homes that have recent sales with key fetures the same.
With certain cars i guess you just go by what a buyer is willing to pay.
I f I owned Hollywood Porsche I would have gladly purchased "Kermit". But it wouldn't be about the money for me. To be able to share a piece of history at any cost is a thing to be admired.
I have a lot of work to do. Thanks to all for your opinions and help.

To have a dream is a great thing.
To share a dream with others is far greater.

Chuck
Sedona is a very nice area......with a nice DRY climate that would lend itself to a long term stored 928 quite well!!!!!!

I believe Sienfield is coming out of retirement for the reunion show in order to afford Kermit.

Possibly a 928 intervention is needed? How about a 928 gtg at Chuck's place? Lots of RMB sounds and a few hugs from Jeannie should turn him around!!
