Default Front plate back on...(pics)

Got "warned" last weekend by a local cop about my Euro plate. A couple months before that a got a ticket for no front plate from a trooper. Both times I figured I was probably 10-15 over so I was happy when they told me it was only for the plate

Anyway, in my attempt to make my car legal, I cut my Va plate down and put it over the Euro plate...

I like the Euro plate look, but now I think it looks a little "tacky", with the other plate on top.

My Va plate with the stock mount covered the front gills, which really broke the front up...no problem with the Euro though.

What do you guys think?????

I guess it's a solution. Can you get a blank Euro Plate so that it blends into your US plate?

Looks good. I think the extra characters which are visible distract from the look and might potentially appear to modify your plate number. I think you are on a right track.

Register it as a collector car. In Minnesota that leads to one plate, no annual fees, flat $100 transfer tax, and other goodies.

I think you can get pretty much anything you want on them from online vendors, not cheap though. I got mine from Hershey for $20, so I didn't feel too bad drilling holes in it. A blank one would clean things up though...

No collectors car stuff here unfortunatly, I think evryone has to have a front plate, exept motorcycles.

The state troopers around here are real dicks, and I've heard stories of them waiting around to nail the car show guys driving home afterwards who aren't 110% legal...No mercy from them at all.

I'll probably just keep the Euro plate, and eat the ticket if I get one, one $80 ticket every 2 years is fine by me. Just hate giving cops an exuse to pull me though. I'm already paranoid enough with the BAD COP, NO DoNUT sticker on my work truck
