Question Paint shifter insert

I'm refurbishing the 5-sp shifter, the kit re-uses the old plastic insert to the ****. Anybody suggest paint for the white inlay shift pattern? I assume I need a fine camel hair brush and an acrylic enamel, Testors?

Just paint over the whole thing and wipe away the excess.

One work of advice on the testors stuff, speaking as a former avid modeler. Do not mix the acrylic and the enamel versions, one is water soluable, the other alchohol and they won't mix. I'd go with enamel as for that reason.

Steve, if you really want it to look nice, pick up an aluminum shift pattern insert from 928 Specialists. Much nicer than the black plastic factory ones. Just my 2 cents. <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/beerchug.gif" />
