Default Porsche on Ebay

Hello everyone. I am interested in making a shark a part of my family. I found this one on ebay. Can I get your thoughts on it?

Thanks.

It looks nice, but you probably should have asked here a couple of days ago. The auction description is pretty general, so it would be good to ask the seller a bunch of questions if you haven't already.

"all available options"
I would have the seller list all of the individual options.

"The car has some dents and rock chips"
I would ask for some close up pics of the dents. Some dents can be repaired inexpensively through a paintless dent removal service.

"I have receipts for $4700 spent in the last 500 miles"
A timing belt, brake pads, and rotors don't cost anywhere near $4,700, so I would ask the seller to list all of the individual things that were done.

Also, I would ask about other stuff too:
Do all of the switches and functions work? (seats, windows, sunroof, mirrors, wiper washers, etc...)
Is the lower front spoiler cracked or split anywhere?
Does the emergency brake work?
Dash lights all work?
Is there anything that doesn't work and needs repair?
Any odd noises or vibrations? (motor mounts?)

The other guys here can tell you more about the respective 84' MY specs.

not bad for a run-of -the-mill US spec slushbox car.....not a Euro or 5-speed or unusual color, options, ad nauseum----

the pics do not do the interior much justice.

more details would be nice.

Nice looking car. Heed my hard learned advice. Do not buy a car off ebay unless you can check it out in person or know the car and person selling it!!!!!!!! These cars are not about beauty being skin deep. You really need to know how much UGLY hides below the skin. Jason

Rennlisters are very helfpful. You don't say what your wrench experience level is. There is a ton of help here, but I wouldn't leap into an unknown, esp on ebay. A PPI is cheap insurance, must be done by someone familiar with sharks. Someone here may live near the car if you can't get to it.
