installing injector seal kit on 88 porsche
Can some one show me where the instructions are to install a injector seal kit on an 88 Porsche 928? I could not find it in the workshop manual.

It's not in there. The Porsche dealer would prefer to sell you a new injector.
I'm assuming you're just replacing the o-rings? If so, just use a small pick to get behind and pull off the existing o-rings. Don't mess with the pintle caps. Then use some wd-40 to lube the new ones and put them on. They're new they'll stretch a little bit

I hope you bought the kits, if so, destroy the old pintle caps to remove them. A small dike plier to put a legenthwise cut in the cap works well, old caps are quite brittle.
Do not damage the needle.
Remove the old oring with a scribe, pick, etc.
Lube new oring and install, I prefer silicone grease. Also clean and coat the mating surfaces in the intake and fuel rail.
Install new pintle caps, these will take a bit of effort. Find some type of tool that has a clearance to protect the needle while putting pressure on the new cap. I think I used the holes in wire crimping pliers.
Seven "snap"s later, you're done!

I used an 8mm socket over the pintle cap and gave it a tap with a mallet. It worked great but don't hit it too hard. The needle should just stick out of the hole in the cap. Just be sure they're snapped on. The last guy to install them on the S4 must not have snapped them on because after I pulled the injectors, I had to pick the caps off of the top of the valves with needle nose pliers. I wonder how long they had been there.
